The 64th Annual Monterey City Amateur and the 9th Annual Monterey City Senior Amateur will be held June 28-30, 2013 at Del Monte Golf Course. We will be pairing in threesomes and starting on both the 1st and 10th tees. There will be a morning wave (7:00AM to 9:00AM) and an afternoon wave beginning at noon. You can request your Friday start time as: early or late AM, or early or late PM. Morning and afternoon sessions will reverse on Saturday. (Early AM Friday will have early PM times on Saturday). A cut will be made to the low-half and ties after Saturday. If your index is less than 5.0, you will have a choice between the championship and first net flight … please indicate your selection on your entry. There will be one or two Net Flights based upon the number of entries. Championship and Senior Amateur events played at scratch, net flight at June 15 index.

Flights
Championship Flight (gross scoring only - players must have an index less than 5.1).
Senior Amateur
Players must be at least 50 years old and have a current index less than 6.8. Only players 55 and over can score NCGA senior points. This event will be gross scoring only and will run concurrently with the first two days of the City Amateur. The first day tee times for the Senior Amateur participants will be sometime between 12:00PM and 2:00PM on Friday, June 29th. There will be no cut in this tournament. Senior players will have the opportunity to play in both events if they choose. Please send an email to montereycityam@comcast.net if you would like to play in both.
